There are more than 75 million Baby Boomers in the US. This aging population is much more likely to develop inactivity-related diseases like diabetes, high blood pressure and heart disease. Regular exercise can help stave off these conditions, and is crucial to maintaining health throughout the aging process. According to a study from JAMA Internal Medicine, however, only half of active Baby Boomers follow a regular schedule or exercise program. That’s where you come in.
